Wild Performance.
This project began by exploring the animal kingdom for inspiration on how to push the limits of sports performance. From peregrine falcons reaching speeds of 240 miles per hour, to octopus using their suction to grip firmly to any surface despite the conditions the animal kingdom is truly Wild. While it is common to look into new technologies to find solutions nature is stocked full of unique strategies to solve age old problems.

The Giant Pacific Octopus car reach a length of 16 feet and is considered the largest octopus in the world. Although it could reach the length of an average sedan the creatures are known for their stealth and can blend in with their surroundings. There are 2,240 suction cups split between all 8 legs that each have the ability to smell, taste, and firmly grip their surroundings.

The peregrine falcon is the fastest animal in the world reaching 240 miles per hour during dives. This predator pushes the boundaries of what is possible. Runners continuously push themselves to their limits and this shoe was designed to aid in reaching top speeds. Each detail of the shoe takes inspiration from the peregrine falcon including the outsole feather pattern for superior traction performance.

Cultural Inspiration
After coming across the falcon depicted in Native American and Ingenious art I refined it into a Nike N7 inspired silhouette. N7 was founded a Nike extension to provide sports equipment to often neglected Native American communities. To showcase these the art of these unique cultures I have taken art from several Tribes and used them to inspire their own colorways. A portion of the proceeds of this shoe would be invested into each of these communities.
